Bleach Your Teeth With Baking Soda

Although baking soda is less powerful than synthetic bleaching agents, it does have some advantages. It is cheap, good for your teeth and, unlike most other methods, actually cleans your teeth. Brush after every meal with baking soda, and you should see a noticeable teeth-whitening effect within a week.


Instructions


Making Your Baking Soda Toothpaste


1. Mix 3 parts baking soda with one part salt.


2. Add several drops of peppermint oil, or any other natural oil desired.


3. Mix in enough glycerin to cover all the powder.


4. Add water to thin the mixture into a paste.


5. Brush as you normally would.


Brush Your Teeth


6. Clean your toothbrush as thoroughly as possibly. Use your fingers to help water get between the bristles.


7. Shake most of the water out of your toothbrush. Put the paste on your brush.


8. Brush the front of your teeth. Be sure to brush them both up and down and side to side. go from the gum line all the way to the bottom of your teeth.


9. Do the same thing to the backs of your teeth.


10. Be sure to brush after every meal.


11. For a little extra boost, add some hydrogen peroxide to the baking soda before brushing.
