Symptoms Of Pectoral Angina

When the body needs extra oxygen, as during physical activity, the heart pumps blood quickly throughout the bloodstream. Pectoral angina (angina pectoris) occurs when the heart pumps blood improperly, causing chest pain and a variety of other unpleasant symptoms.

Pain

The most common symptom is chest pain, which can range from a dull ache to severe, intense feelings of heaviness or pressure in the chest.

Breathing Difficulties

Another indicator is breathing difficulty; pectoral angina can cause a shortness of breath or shallow breathing.

Skin Problems

A sudden white pallor (pale skin) can also be a symptom of pectoral angina. Sweating or cold, clammy skin can also occur.

Dizziness and Nausea

Other symptoms of pectoral angina include lightheadedness and dizziness accompanied by nausea.

Warning

The above symptoms could also be associated with other medical conditions; it's recommended to consult a medical doctor for proper diagnosis.
