Get Rid Of Estrogen

Estrogen is an important hormone to maintain a healthy body. Of course women need more estrogen than men, but it is necessary for men as well. While estrogen keeps women looking healthy, it can also be the cause of certain diseases and prohibit weight loss. The more estrogen you have in your body, the harder it is to lose weight. If you want to get rid of excess estrogen in your body, there are some things you can do. This guide will show you the best ways to eliminate unwanted estrogen.

Instructions

1. Drink grapefruit juice. Grapefruit juice has a certain quality that eliminates estrogen in the body. It actually works by blocking something called estradiol from being broken down by the liver. This means the estrogen from environmental sources is not allowed to fully soak into your organs.

2. Avoid soy products. Soy may be a healthy alternative when you are referring to a low fat diet, but it is detrimental to your estrogen levels. Environmental estrogen is everywhere now a days. Soy meat, soy milk and soy almonds are all products to avoid when reducing estrogen levels.

3. Reheat your food in non plastic containers. Plastic emits a chemical, when it is heated, into it's contained food. This chemical is another environmental estrogen. Instead, use a porcelain or glass bowl to heat your food. If you don't have one of those handy, just use a paper plate.

4. Eat organic foods to eliminate environmental estrogens in pesticides. Pesticides and chemicals are in virtually everything we eat. In fact, recently non organic baby food was tested and 15 pesticides were found in one single container.

5. Take anti-estrogen prescription drugs like androgens, clomiphene or Tamoxifen. Medication should be your last resort unless your estrogen levels are extremely dangerous. This is because medication is the cause of an excess of estrogen to begin with, so fighting problems naturally is easier on you body.
