Belief in the mystical properties of gemstones dates back to ancient times. Aventurine is the star sign for Libra. It is associated with the zodiac signs of Aries, Taurus, Leo and Libra as well as the planet Mars. Aventurine is also associated with the element of earth and the direction of North. The green gemstone is also associated with the heart chakra. Peach aventurine is associated with the sacral chakra and the blue variety is associated with the third eye chakra. In Feng Shui, aventurine can be placed in the north direction relating to career and the west relating to creativity. It can be beneficial in any area where good luck is needed.
