The use of kudzu for hair growth began in China, where it was commonly used as a supplement for hair regrowth in balding men.
Its hair regenerative properties shouldn't be surprising, as it contains multiple ingredients known to support hair health, including saw palmetto, silica, biotin and folic acid.
Recently, a woman named Rose Bianco rediscovered a recipe her family used for years to treat skin conditions. The main ingredient in it was kudzu.
After perfecting the recipe, Bianco began a line of products produced from kudzu, including skin cream, lotion, eye gel, soap, body butter, body mist, lip balm, shampoo and hair butter.
The hair butter is especially useful for encouraging hair growth. It is rich in protein and vitamins that help moisturize and restore damaged hair to its original condition.
