Color Therapy For Cancer

Color Power

What is color therapy treatment options and where is it being used.

What is Color Therapy?

Just as color wavelengths from the sun can penetrate our skin, color therapy can be used to help in the body's fight against cancer. Using the theory that all things vibrate at select frequencies, including diseases, color therapy----also referred to as colour therapy---matches the disease vibration using individual or mixed colors. The goal is to stimulate the patient's body and mind in order to instigate healing and restore health.

Color Therapy Options

Most color therapists will consult with the patient to learn more about the medical issues, health and current treatments. One treatment option incorporates the use of colored cottons or wools. Colored material is selected and cut to exactly match the disease, called tabulation. Using therapy equipment specialized for tabulation; thousands of waves are produced within color tabulation then applied to the diseased area and thus passed into the patient's bloodstream. Nothing is physically put into the patient, other than the tabulation waves. Color therapy patients typically do not feel any pain when receiving treatments.

Another treatment may involve the use of colored lights, either in the form of a beam or a series of flashing lights. Another therapy process incorporates the use of oils and colored silk materials laid on the body to help encourage color vibration healing.

Where Is Color Therapy Being Used?

While color therapy is not widely accepted as a standard cancer treatment, there are select programs integrating color therapy into cancer treatment programs. The Bristol Cancer Care clinic is approaching cancer treatment with a holistic approach that includes several therapies including nutrition, color, visualization and breathing in addition to the traditional chemotherapy treatments. Incorporating both mental and physical therapies to treat cancer has produced positive results for some Bristol Cancer Care clinic patients.
