Replace A Battery In Power Motorized Wheelchairs

Motorized wheelchairs give individuals who have limited mobility the opportunity to get around in and out of their homes. This mobility can he halted, though, if the battery of the wheelchair dies or malfunctions. Finding these batteries at a local store or dealer can be almost impossible. Fortunately, there are numerous companies that will sell and ship these batteries.


Instructions


1. Look for batteries for your wheelchair on the Battery Web website. Scroll down the page to see a long list of wheelchair manufacturers. Click on a link to see the types of batteries available for that brand of motorized wheelchair. Select a battery to read more about it and to purchase it online. You can also buy a battery by phone: (877) 746-2288.


2. Buy a battery from the Wheelchair and Scooter Battery Store. Scroll down the home page and click on the manufacturer of your motorized wheelchair. You will then see the available batteries, as well as a link listed underneath the "Description" heading. Click that link to see a picture of the battery and read more about the battery. Click on the "Add to Cart" tab next to the battery of your choice to buy that battery. If you cannot find your manufacturer or wheelchair model, call (800) 255-5545 if you want to buy over the phone of if you have questions. You can also email the company at info@powerquality.org.


3. Find a wheelchair battery on the Apex Battery website. Browse through all of the different brands of wheelchairs listed on the site until you find yours. Click on that link and you will find pictures of the batteries for sale on the website. Click on the picture of the battery to read more about that item and to buy it. 4. Purchase a battery for your motorized wheelchair from the At Battery Company. Scroll down the "Select Brand" box and click on the maker of your wheelchair. Different options will then appear in the "Select Model" box. Click on your model, and a replacement battery (or batteries) will appear on the screen. Read the information about the battery and click the "Buy Now" tab to buy that battery. Contact the company at (877) 528-2288.


5. Search for wheelchair batteries on eBay. You can find over 100 batteries for motorized wheelchairs there.
