Bleach Teeth At Home

Dental bleaching is a process that dentists use to increase the brightness and whiteness of teeth. The procedure usually takes several visits and can be quite expensive in the long run. If you’re worried about the price, you should know that you can do the same thing at home for much less money.

Instructions

1. Use a whitening toothpaste in combination with a protective mouthwash. This can work for those who only want to make their teeth brighter by a shade or two. You should use the toothpaste at least twice a day and follow it up with the mouthwash.

2. Visit your dentist and get fitted for a dental tray specifically for at-home use. While teeth bleaching can be expensive when you visit the dentist, using products he prescribes at home is a less expensive prospect. You’ll get the same effects at home, but without the hefty dentist bills.

3. Wear a dental tray at night while you sleep in conjunction with a Carbomide peroxide product. This is the same type of substance that dentists use for teeth bleaching, and it’s often available in at-home products. Simply apply the gel to the dental tray and keep the tray in your mouth while you sleep at night.

4. Pick up a gel-based at-home bleaching kit from your pharmacy or drugstore. These kits usually contain a small tray that fits into your mouth along with the gel. You’ll need to wear the tray for 30 minutes or an hour at a time, but you should see the results very quickly.

5. Buy a pack of the gel strips, which are available from most pharmacies and larger merchandise stores. These strips contain a teeth-bleaching product that works slowly and gradually over time. You may need to wear the strips for over a month before you see any effects.
