Sinus Reflexology

Reflexology points are found on the pads of your fingers and toes on the opposite side from the nails. Some of these zones and points correspond to the sinus tissues. The tissue in these specific areas needs to be stimulated to loosen up your sinuses and get rid of congestion.

Balls of the Toe and Fingers

According to Reflexologyguide.org., the tips of the toes on the right foot are the points that most closely correspond to the sinuses. Stimulating the balls of your toes reportedly stimulates the sinus cavities. Stimulate the toe balls using your thumb and rubbing upward along each toe.

Meridian Points

Stimulate the meridian points that are on the nail side of your finger or toenail by using a finger and putting pressure on the area in a circular motion. Use a clockwise technique and then a counterclockwise approach. Do this for 10 seconds on each meridian point.

Increase Circulation

Applying reflexology techniques increases blood circulation to the sinus area and nose, which makes it easier to breath.

Unblocking Sinuses

Reflexology will unblock sinuses but won't cure an infection.
