Identify Chlamydia

When you have sex with someone you are having sex with everyone they had sex with ... Protect yourself!

Chlamydia is a bacterium-based sexually transmitted disease. Reading this article will teach you identify this STD.

Instructions

1. Get tested. All too often, chlamydia doesn't exhibit any symptoms until it's too late, so the only way to identify it is by getting tested for it. In 70% to 80% of cases of women and men, infected patients reported having no symptoms and only found out about it when they got tested for it. If you have more than one sex partner, it is recommended that you get tested on a regular basis. The amount of times you need to get tested in a given time frame depends solely on how many partners you have.

2. Notice any pains you are having. In women, there will be pains in the lower abdomen, and there may also be an intense burning sensation during urination. Men don't typically have pain in their abdomen if infected with chlamydia; however, they will experience intense pain and burning during urination. If you start noticing pain, inflammation or any other discomfort while urinating, it is recommended that you see a doctor immediately to determine if you are infected with chlamydia.

3. Pay attention to your genitals. Along with other symptoms, women often have a discharge and foul odor from the vagina when they are infected with chlamydia. Men infected with chlamydia often have a discharge from their genital area and experience pain in their testicles. When you start noticing such symptoms, it is recommended that you see a doctor immediately before the infection worsens.
