Homemade Shower Scrub

Homemade Shower Scrub

The pores on your body can become clogged with dirt, oil and dead skin cells. These clogged pores can lead to pimples, blackheads and whiteheads. Once formed, this body acne can be difficult and expensive to remedy. An alternative is to prevent the formation of problem skin with the use of shower scrubs. These body scrubs can be made at home for a fraction of the price of their store bought competition. You can also choose to make yours without dyes and perfumes, that can potentially irritate the skin.

Instructions

1. Combine two cups light brown sugar and one quarter cup sweet almond oil in a large bowl.

2. Mix the two ingredients together well and add one quarter cup peach kernel oil to the bowl.

3. Add 10 drops vitamin E oil and 10 drops vanilla essential oil to the bowl.

4. Mix the ingredients together well.

5. Place the shower scrub into an empty, airtight plastic container.

6. Wet your skin and gently rub the exfoliating scrub onto arms, legs, chest and back. Avoid using this scrub on the face.

7. Rinse with warm water.
