Make A Powerful Toothpaste

Homemade toothpaste is easy to make.

Brushing our teeth is one of the things we do in our daily routine, and nearly every bathroom contains some form of toothpaste. Everyone's teeth are different, so they require different types of toothpastes. Some toothpastes are stronger than others, while others are milder or for more sensitive teeth. You can make your own powerful toothpaste at home with a few easy-to-find ingredients.

Instructions

1. Select a place to make the toothpaste. Preferably, make it in your kitchen where you can easily place the ingredients. Cover your table so that you do not damage your furniture if you spill any ingredients. Change into old attire or clothes that are worn out for this project. Collect your ingredients and arrange them on the table in front of you.

2. Determine the amount of toothpaste you want to make. Divide your baking soda and salt into four parts. Take one part of salt and three parts of baking soda and mix them in a bowl. For instance, if you have 1 teaspoon of salt, mix in 3 teaspoons of baking soda. Add 3 tablespoons of glycerin to every quarter cup of the baking soda and salt mixture.

3. Transform your mixture into a form of toothpaste by mixing in water. Pour in as much as you wish to according to how thick you want your paste to be. Keep adding more of the water until you are content with the thickness of the paste.

4. Choose the oil you wish to put into the mixture depending on the taste you want. Choose from a variety of oils such as peppermint, cinnamon and others.

5. Find an air-tight container that does not allow your toothpaste to become dry. Choose a container that will easily store all your mixture and is brand new and not used in any way so that it will not contaminate the toothpaste.
