Treat A Heat Rash With Natural Products

Using natural products has become increasingly popular and is an alternative to some modern medicines. Heat rash occurs due to humid and hot conditions that cause the skin to sweat but the sweat can't be released because of blocked pores. Treating heat rash with natural products can be safer and beneficial on a case by case basis.

Instructions

1. Loosen your clothes and let your skin breathe. Try to get in a well-ventilated, shaded area, in order to cool the skin. Using a fan may also help this process.

2. Take a cool shower or bath. A tepid bath can work wonders in this case as it also helps to unclog the pores and cool the skin. Be sure to air dry as this will help the rash as well.

3. Use some aloe. Aloe's benefits are that it is steroid free and has anti-irritating effects. This should be used on areas where ashing, or noticeable inflammation occurs.

4. Smear on the butter. Cocoa butter should be used in hotter drier climates for heat rash. Apply small amounts directly to the affected area and also keep the area as cool and free of constrictive clothing as possible.

5. Swap out the soap. Using oatmeal as you would soap in a bath or shower could also help to get rid of the rash. It is recommended to boil the oatmeal in a breathable material such as a sock or makeshift tea bag.
