If you have a problem with drug abuse or if you are seeking help for someone who does, Narconon may be your starting point. Narconon is an organization with more than 100 locations worldwide. The organization is committed to eliminating drug abuse through prevention, education and rehabilitation. Since 1965 Narconon has helped thousands of people turn their lives around. 1. Research where the nearest location for treatment is on the Narconon website. The icon labeled "Worldwide Centers" provides information about Narconon locations nearest you.


2. Know that the rehabilitation program focuses entirely on psychological and physiological education without the use of other prescribed drugs. The program is a challenge and has the potential to be a life-changing experience for the drug abuser.


3. Realize this is a commitment. Narconon programs last from three to five months in length. Both the drug abuser and her support group need to be committed to rehabilitation.








4. Expect to pay. Narconon treatment programs are not free. Generally, the responsible party is billed in four equal payments for initial entry into the program. After program completion, the program participant's insurance is billed.


5. Visit a Narconon center in your region before committing to participation. Given the length of the program you want to ensure it is the right match for your needs.
