Instructions

1. Start off by opening your hand in a relaxed position. Make sure that your fingers are spread apart. Take your handwrap and place your thumb through the thumb loop. Most handwraps will have the words “This Side Down” on one side of the wrap, thus, make sure that’s the side that is facing down. Begin the wrapping process by wrapping it across the back of your hand and around your wrist (do this two or three times depending on the size of your hands). Keep the wrap at least 2 inches above your wrist joint.

2. Moving from your wrist, you will want to take the wrap across the back of your hand, and then move around to your palm. End this motion by wrapping it across your knuckles.

3. You will want to wrap your knuckles two to three times, again, depending on the size of your hands. Once you have wrapped your knuckles, move it across the back of your hand, down to your wrist, and back around. Repeat this pattern two to three times.

4. From the palm of your hand, move the wrap to the base of your thumb, wrapping the lower-half of your thumb completely. Then, take the wrap back to your wrist and move it to the palm of your hand. Make sure that the wrap does not twist when traveling around your thumb.

5. Take the wrap and move it around to the back of your hand and around to your thumb. You will begin to wrap your thumb again, but this time, going in the opposite direction.

6. From your thumb, move the wrap to the back of your hand and then around your wrist.

7. You will want to continue this motion around your wrist to the back of your hand and then taking the wrap between your ring finger and your pinkie. Take the wrap down your palm and then back towards wrist. Repeat this motion for each of your fingers. Now, the wrap will be in between each of your fingers. Once you have completely wrapped between each of your fingers, take the wrap down across the palm of your hand and move it to your wrist.

8. Take the wrap and move it across the back of your hand towards your upper-knuckles where you will move the handwrap around your knuckles one more time. Continue the motion by taking the wrap toward your wrist.

9. With the rest of the wrap, you will provide security for your wrist by wrapping it around your wrist-joint. Take the wrap hook and fasten it tightly. This may take practice, but soon, it will become second nature.
