Get Rid Of An Acne Blemish Fast

Treat blemishes quickly at home.

A blemish can appear at the least anticipated moment and getting rid of it fast becomes the number one concern. Acne can affect people of ages, not just teenagers, and is caused from dirt and oils trapped in pores. While prevention, such as a good diet and daily washing of the face, is the key to controlling acne, a blemish will invariably pop out at the worst possible time. A few basic items can help you get rid of the blemish quickly.

Instructions

1. Bring 1 cup of milk to a boil. Remove the pot from the heat and add the juice from half a lime. Let the mixture cool so it is still warm. Soak a washcloth in the mixture and wash your face with it. Rinse your face with warm water and pat your skin dry. Do this two or three times a day, depending on how bad the blemish is. The lime juice kills bacteria that cause acne, helping to get rid of the blemish quickly, and the milk is soothing to the skin.

2. Apply an egg white mask to the blemish once a day until it clears up. Beat one egg white in a bowl until stiff, stir in three to four drops of each witch hazel and fresh lemon juice. Apply to the affected area, avoiding the eye area, and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat your skin dry. The ingredients work to dry up the blemish, getting rid of it fast.

3. Apply a vinegar toner to the skin to kill the bacteria that causes the blemish. Mix 1 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar in 1 cup of warm water. Using a cotton ball dipped in the mixture, apply it to the blemish to help dry it up. Keep the mixture in the refrigerator for a few weeks and use it as needed on any blemish.

4. Apply tea tree oil directly to the blemish after washing your face and using a mask and toner. Tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic that kills the bacteria that causes acne. Apply with a cotton ball or cotton tip swab.
