Halloween is just as much fun for adults as it is for children. Adults often dress up and attend Halloween parties or just go bar hopping. If you're going out on the town or to a party with a group of people, consider dressing up in the same theme. There are many to choose from, so get creative when you decide.
Cinderella and Stepsisters
This is a perfect group costume idea for a woman who is dressing up with a couple men. Let the woman dress up as Cinderella, with a big ball gown and clear plastic slippers. The men can be her ugly stepsisters. Go to a thrift store to find outdated dresses in sizes large enough for the men. Find wigs and apply garish makeup. This group costume is sure to get some laughs.
Simpsons
This group costume idea would work best for a mixed group of men and women. Dress up as the Simpsons family. Costumes for Homer, Bart, Marge, Lisa and Maggie might be hard to make from items in the home, but most costume shops would have costumes for each character.
Village People
This costume works best for a group of men, but substituting in a few women won't hurt. Group members can dress up as a police officer, Native American, cowboy, biker, construction worker and soldier. You have many of the necessary items at home, but the rest can easily be found at a costume shop.

This is an easy group costume and works well for an office Halloween party. Everyone wears normal work clothes and extra-large name tags like those often worn on game shows. Everyone talks really loudly and is over-enthusiastic about everything.
News Crew
A news crew is another idea that's good for a mixed group of people. One person dresses up as the reporter, wearing too much makeup and over-sprayed hair. Add a camera operator, sound man, light man and producer. The group can walk around the party and interview people. This costume is fairly easy, but you might need to look for props at a costume shop.
