Packages & Options For A 2007 Lexus Ls 460

Lexus introduced its LS 460 luxury sedan in 2007 as a replacement for the LS 430. In 2007, Lexus sold the LS 460 as a base model sedan or as the LS 460 L, which had a longer, 121.7-inch wheelbase compared to the base model's 116.9-inch wheelbase. This latter model provided greater interior room. The base model sedan originally retailed for $61,000 and the LS 460 L cost $71,000.


Standard Features


Lexus stocked both models of its LS 460 with standard features. Some of these included front heated power leather seats, leather and wood interior trim, a 10-speaker stereo system with a graphic equalizer and an in-dash six CD changer, dual zone automatic front air conditioning, power windows and doors and remote keyless entry. Standard safety features included side-impact beams in the galvanized steel body, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, traction control, stability control, front and side impact airbags for the driver and front passenger, curtain airbags for both rows of passengers and a panic alarm and security system.


Options


Optional features on the base LS 460 included three memory settings for the 10-directional power driver seat and the rear seat behind the driver, cruise control buttons mounted on the steering wheel, a heated steering wheel option, voice-activated navigation, the Lexus Link emergency communication system, a power reclining rear bench seat, a heated rear bench, ventilated front or rear seats, wireless Internet capability and a DVD entertainment system. Buyers could upgrade the LS 460 L with rear air conditioning and a dual-zone rear heater, a power massage rear seat, a rear refrigerated cooler box under the console, a rear fold-out table and front and rear LCD monitors.


Packages for the LS 460


In 2007, Lexus sold different options packages for each model of the LS 460. The company offered five packages for the LS 460 base. Lexus' Comfort Package added heated front and rear seats and cooling front seats, equipped the LS 460 with a wood and leather trimmed steering wheel, put a power sun shade on the rear window and added washers to the headlights. A Comfort Plus package contained the Comfort Package features plus power rear seats and rear airbags. The Navigation System Advanced Parking Guidance Package gave the LS 460 XM Satellite Radio, a voice-activated Bluetooth and NavTraffic navigation system, plus a backup camera that showed the area behind the car and a parking guidance system that automatically parked this car. Lexus also coupled the NavTraffic and Bluetooth system with a Mark Levinson stereo package. This latter feature added a 450-watt, 19-speaker surround system and a DVD video player/CD changer. Buyers could also purchase the Levinson surround system with the NavTraffic and Bluetooth.


Packages for the LS 460 L


Buyers had the option to upgrade the LS 460 L with the Luxury Package. This package included rear power memory seats and rear airbags, and swapped out the standard leather seating for Semi-Aniline leather, with a headliner made from Escaine, a type of suede. Lexus' Executive Class Seating Package added all of these features plus a rear DVD video player, a 9-inch screen and a rear-mounted wood trimmed table with a rear right passenger seat that had a power recline and massage function. The Rear Seat Upgrade Package equipped the back cabin with an air purifier for its four-zone automatic air conditioner, rear mounted audio controls, power sunshades for the rear door windows and a rear-mounted Cool Box refrigeration compartment inside the rear center console. A Touring Package installed the larger wheels and tires and high performance brakes, and swapped out the standard suspension and steering for Lexus' Adaptive Variable Suspension, which adjusts the shocks to changing road conditions, and Variable Gear-Ratio steering, which moderates the power steering in response to the car's speed. Buyers could also upgrade the LS 460 L with the Mark Levinson audio system that also came with a DVD/CD changer and a hard drive for audio and file storage.


Appearance


In 2007, Lexus offered the LS 460 and LS 460 L in one of eight exterior colors and one of four interior color schemes. Exterior colors included Verdigris Mica, Obsidian, Mercury Metallic and Golden Almond Metallic, among others. Interior color schemes consisted of Light Gray, Cashmere, Black and Alabaster. The company matched the color of the front and rear bumpers to the chosen color and outfitted both models with chrome door handles, a chrome grille and a chrome-tipped exhaust. Lexus equipped the base LS 460 and LS 460 L with 18-inch alloy wheels that rode on size P235/50VR18 tires; buyers could upgrade the LS 460 L with 19-inch alloy wheels that took size P245/45YR19 tires.
